The Israeli actress joins the star-studded guest list after a six-year absence.

Fashion's most exclusive night has revealed its guest list through a recent leak, with Israeli actress Gal Gadot making a notable return to the prestigious Met Gala after a six-year absence from the event.

Gadot last graced the Metropolitan Museum's famous steps in 2019, her only previous appearance at the gala. During that appearance, she wore a striking Claire Waight Keller creation for Givenchy – a white lace mini-dress from the Spring-Summer 2019 collection. She completed the ensemble with over-the-knee black boots, a distinctive headpiece, and approximately $200,000 worth of Tiffany jewelry.

The timing of Gadot's return coincides with heightened public attention surrounding her new film "Snow White," which has generated significant controversy due to her collaboration with co-star Rachel Zegler, who has expressed pro-Palestinian views. According to the leaked list, Zegler will also be attending the Met Gala.

Gadot's fashion evolution has seen significant changes since her 2019 Met Gala appearance. While she previously worked with stylist Elizabeth Stewart for the event, she has since transitioned to stylist Karla Welch, who has transformed Gadot's aesthetic with a more contemporary and youthful approach. Fashion observers anticipate Gadot will likely opt for a classic, elegant look featuring distinctive elements, possibly from fashion houses like Loewe, Armani, or Prada – brands she has collaborated with during the past year.

The star-studded guest list includes entertainment industry luminaries such as Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell, Bad Bunny, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez, Lana Del Rey, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, and Katy Perry, among others.

This year's Met Gala theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," will celebrate black dandyism – a cultural aesthetic emphasizing refined personal appearance and grooming among African American men. The theme aligns with the Metropolitan Museum's new exhibition, marking the institution's first focus on men's fashion since 2003.

The event's dress code, "Tailored For You," suggests attendees will showcase bespoke creations designed specifically for them, alongside runway looks from haute couture collections.

Held annually on the first Monday of May, the Met Gala serves as a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Under the direction of American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, it has established itself as the fashion industry's most prestigious and anticipated event of the year.
