Kaley Cuoco Just Revealed If She'd Reprise the Role of Penny on 'The Big Bang Theory' Spinoff
Turns out, we may just see Penny back on our screens!
When The Big Bang Theory ended its 12-season run back in 2019, it seemed like this would be the last time we'd see Kaley Cuoco on TV as the well-loved Penny Hofstadter. Well, it looks like she has some ideas about stepping back into her iconic role, and she's opening up about it.
When speaking with People on October 19, the actress was asked about the upcoming The Big Bang Theory spinoff. Given the recent news of Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus reprising their roles as Stuart Bloom, Bert Kibbler and Stuart's girlfriend Denise, it only makes sense for Kaley to be approached about if she'd ever step back into Penny's shoes.
"I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career. I owe a lot to that character, to that show, to [creator] Chuck Lorre," she shared about her time on The Big Bang Theory. "It was some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I've ever had ... I would absolutely reprise that role."
