Gal Gadot graced the Producers Guild Awards to show her support for the team behind the success of Wonder Woman on Saturday night. The blockbuster superhero movie was nominated for the esteemed Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, alongside ten other films. The nominees included the power couple Zack and Deborah Snyder, along with Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.

Gal pointed out that this year, three of the highest-earning films had female protagonists, with one being directed by the talented Patty Jenkins – Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Beauty And The Beast, and Wonder Woman. Additionally, there were eight other films in the top 100 that were directed by women. Gal emphasized that while there has been progress in this area, there is still a long way to go. She also stressed that as filmmakers, it is not only their responsibility to entertain, but also to inspire and educate others about love and respect.
